More About me...
Before I tell you what Christ Is Fit offers, I want to tell you why it exists.
Because for me, this has never been just about fitness. Fitness is what we do, but purpose is why we do it.
Christ Is Fit was built from a personal journey of training, sports activities, hands-on experience, studying fitness, learning through practice, and discovering that the lessons we learn through physical training can reach far beyond the gym.
I've learned that fitness can teach you things about life that no textbook can fully explain. It teaches you that progress takes time. It teaches you that discipline matters when motivation disappears. It teaches you that you can be uncomfortable without being defeated. It teaches you that sometimes you have to slow down before you can move forward. It teaches you that strength isn't developed by avoiding resistance. And perhaps most importantly, it teaches you that becoming better is a process.
That philosophy became the foundation of Christ Is Fit.
But there is another foundation underneath it: my faith.
The word Christ means “Anointed One.” It is the title associated with Jesus Christ, the Messiah. For me, that word carries tremendous meaning. Christ represents the foundation of how I want to live, how I want to serve people, and how I want to approach the work I do.
I believe that if faith is truly part of who we are, it shouldn't only appear in what we say. It should influence how we live. It should influence how we treat people, how we work, how we respond when things become difficult, how we approach discipline, how we conduct ourselves, and how we use the abilities God has given us. I believe it can also influence how we care for our bodies.
Scripture says, “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost…” — 1 Corinthians 6:19.
That verse isn't a command to become obsessed with our appearance. It isn't permission to make physical fitness an idol, and it certainly doesn't mean that someone's physical condition determines their value. To me, it speaks about stewardship.
We have been given a body. We have been given abilities. We have been given time. We have been given opportunities. What we do with those things matters.
Our bodies allow us to work, serve, carry, build, create, care for our families, participate in our communities, pursue our responsibilities, and experience the world around us. So why wouldn't we want to take care of them?
That question changed the way I began to see fitness.
Fitness wasn't simply about building muscle. It wasn't simply about losing weight. It wasn't simply about looking good. Those things can be legitimate goals, but they aren't the whole picture.
At Christ Is Fit, we believe training should have a purpose. Whether your goal is to become stronger, improve your conditioning, lose weight, run farther, move better, build confidence, improve your performance, or simply develop healthier habits, your journey starts where you are.
You don't have to be fit to start.
You don't have to know everything.
You don't have to be perfect.
You just have to be willing to begin.
Our approach is professional, practical, and personal. Through services such as personal training, group training, strength and conditioning, HIIT, boxing-based conditioning, cardio, running programs, mobility-focused training, and online coaching, we work to provide training that fits the individual rather than forcing everyone into the same approach.
Your body is different.
Your experience is different.
Your schedule is different.
Your goals are different.
Your life is different.
Your training should recognize those differences.
When you work with Christ Is Fit, you're not simply purchasing a workout. You're investing in guidance, structure, education, accountability, and your own development.
My goal as a trainer and business owner is not simply to make you tired. It is to help you understand what you're doing, why you're doing it, and how it can help you progress.
I want you to become stronger—not only physically, but in your confidence, discipline, knowledge, and ability to take ownership of your health.
I also believe that strength should have a purpose.
Being strong isn't simply about lifting more weight or looking a certain way. Strength can give us greater capacity to work, serve, participate, endure, and show up for the people and responsibilities that matter to us.
For those who share the Christian faith, Christ Is Fit is a place where faith and fitness can naturally exist together. For those who are exploring faith or simply looking for quality fitness services, you are welcome here as well.
You don't have to share the same beliefs to be treated with respect, professionalism, and care.
Christ Is Fit is built around a simple philosophy:
Train the Body. Strengthen the Spirit. Live With Purpose.
Train the body because physical health matters.
Strengthen the spirit because character matters.
Live with purpose because your life matters.
This is not about perfection. It is about progress.
It is about taking the next step.
If you've tried before and stopped, you can begin again.
If you've lost confidence, you can rebuild it.
If you're starting for the first time, you don't have to figure everything out alone.
And if you're already experienced, there is always another level of growth.
Wherever you are in your journey, Christ Is Fit is here to help you move forward with purpose.
I don't believe we have to wait until we're perfect to begin becoming better. We simply have to be willing to start, remain consistent, learn from the process, and keep moving forward.
That is the heart behind Christ Is Fit.
Christ is the foundation.
Fitness is the service.
Growth is the process.
Purpose is the direction.
Welcome to Christ Is Fit.
Train the Body. Strengthen the Spirit.
